Product Information: This part is based near the electrodes. Usually, there are two types of electrode, Ignition electrodes and flame sensing electrodes. The Ignition electrode is responsible for causing the spark that starts off combustion. The flame sensing electrodes are responsible for detecting whether there is a flame present in the burner. This is an important safety device that makes sure the boiler isn't still supplying gas without a flame.
This part is present in 3 different boilers on our system including the ARISTON GENUS 23 MFFI UK, ARISTON GENUS 27 MFFI UK and the ARISTON GENUS 27 RFFI SYSTEM.
