Product Information: This part is located within the condensate trap section. The condensate trap captures the discharge which accumulates in the primary heating/cooling system. This is caused by the fluctuations in the pressure and temperature within those systems. A discharge pipe linked to the condensate trap then allows any held water passage out of the property. The water contained within the condensate trap can contain mild levels of acid due to carbon dioxide formed from boiler use dissolving in the water. Discharge pipes are very rarely made of anything other than plastic as this water could damage a metal pipe over time.
This part is present in 7 different boilers on our system including the GLOWWORM ULTRACOM 12 HXI, GLOWWORM ULTRACOM 15 HXI, GLOWWORM ULTRACOM 18 HXI, GLOWWORM ULTRACOM 24 CXI and the GLOWWORM ULTRACOM 24 HXI.
