This part is based near the electrodes. There are two types of electrode available, the ignition electrodes and the flame sensing electrodes. The ignition electrode creates a spark that begins the combustion process. The flame sensing electrodes are responsible for detecting whether there is a flame in the burner, and ensures the burner is operating correctly .
