This part is based near the electrodes. There are two types of electrode available, the flame sensing electrodes and the ignition electrodes. The ignition electrode causes a spark that starts the flame in the burner. The flame sensing electrodes are responsible for checking the flame in the burner, and stops fuel being added if the flame is not correctly lit .
