This part is based around the diverter valve section. The diverter valve is a directional water mechanism that is only found on a combi boiler, which is used to allow hot water to be sent to the radiators or taps depending on what is required. This is what separates combi boilers from normal boilers due to the diverter valve allowing hot water to both central heating and taps without a cylinder .
