Potterton Fire Heat Exchangers

There are 2 different types of heat exchanger that can be fitted, the primary heat exchanger and the secondary heat exchanger. The primary is present in almost all boilers and it allows the heat to be transferred from the burner to the water within the system. The secondary heat exchanger is very rare with relation to fires and allows the heat to be transferred from one closed system to another. Fires usually have a back burner or have the heat exchanger built in to the flue system.
